Vertigo & Vestibular Rehabilitation

Expert vestibular therapy for dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. Available at our West Vero Beach and Sebastian locations.

What Is Vertigo?

Vertigo is the sensation that you or your surroundings are spinning. It is most often caused by inner ear problems such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), labyrinthitis, or Meniere's disease. Symptoms include dizziness, loss of balance, nausea, and difficulty concentrating.

How Physical Therapy Treats Vertigo

Our licensed physical therapists specialize in vestibular rehabilitation — a proven, non-invasive treatment that retrains the brain to compensate for inner ear dysfunction. Most patients see significant improvement within just a few sessions.

  • Canalith Repositioning (Epley Maneuver) for BPPV
  • Gaze stabilization exercises
  • Balance and gait retraining
  • Habituation exercises to reduce dizziness sensitivity
  • Fall prevention strategies

Who Can Benefit?

Anyone experiencing dizziness, spinning sensations, imbalance, or difficulty walking can benefit from vestibular PT. It is especially effective for seniors, post-concussion patients, and those with chronic inner ear conditions.
